Nokia 3120 Classic

I spend few hours today to figure out the blue-tooth connection between my Nokia 3120 Classic mobile with my laptop and PC (HP Pavilion Slimline). It's was difficult initially as i never experience bluetooth connectivity before, eventually it turn out to be a simple setup. Glad to learn something new today.

My laptop and PC were not built-in with blue-tooth device, i bought a bluetooth USB adapter from a computer shop in Sunshine square which cost me RM 18. Plug in the adapter to my lapptop, window XP do the PnP configuration automatically. 

At the beginning, i turn on the mobile bluetooth visibility and laptop's bluetooth file transfer wizard. This approach allow one image file send from mobile to laptop at a time which is very trouble-some. I need to re-launch file receiving for each attempt of file sending.

With some surfing on Nokia support website, i downloaded the Nokia PC Suite software and installed it into my laptop. Immediate after installation, the software guide me through all the way from bluetooth pairing my mobile with the laptop. 

Through Nokia PC Suite, i can easily browse and transfer the images, recordings and videos stored in the mobile to my laptop. i can also download mp3 and images from laptop to the mobile phone. It is real fun and amazing. 

i checked with one of the Nokia agent, the USB cable that connecting Nokia 3120 Classic with PC USB port cost RM 60+, i further find out from another computer shop, the bluetooth USB adapter can be cost as cheap as RM 10. 

I bougth another 2 bluetooth USB adapter from that computer shop, planning to setup bluetooth connection between my all-in-one printer (HP F4280) to my laptop. Hopefully, i have time to tried this out next weekend. :o)
